Second-half property taxes are due Monday, Nov. 1, said Clark County Treasurer Doug Lasher.Lasher said if property owners have not received a 2010 second-half tax statement or lost it, they can visit http://www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer or call 360-397-2252.Lasher said 155,000 second-half property statements were mailed last month. Property statements include property tax levy amounts, lighting assessments and clean water fees. Taxpayers whose taxes and assessments are not paid through a mortgage company are responsible for paying their second-half property taxes by the Nov. 1 deadline to avoid interest and penalties. Payments may be made online or by phone but are subject to processing fees that are paid to a vendor. Payments may be mailed to Clark County Treasurer, P.O. Box 9808, Vancouver, WA 98666-8808. Payments must be postmarked by Nov. 1.Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelopes provided with their statements.
