Both resigned from the Houston Police Department in February 2018.“The game room itself is not illegal. That’s what’s confusing to the public,” Ogg said. “We have to prove that the machines are actually used illegally and what makes it illegal is when the owner/operators pay out over the lawful limit.”The two are accused of financing luxury cars and other items to mask the profits of the group’s alleged leader, Theien Hoai Vo, also known as “Tim Vo.” Ly financed a 2016 Lamborghini Huracan through the Houston Police Federal Credit Union. Authorities said they recovered $2.3 million from Vo’s personal safe.News conference re gambling network https://t.co/SxPrpqfzlp— Harris County DA (@HarrisCountyDAO) March 28, 2018last_img read more
